Costcodle: The Price Is Right, Six Guesses, One Warehouse

Costcodle does to Costco what Wordle did to five-letter words: one product a day, six guesses, and a stubborn number standing between you and a perfect streak. You see the photo, the name and the pack size - and then you have to answer the question every warehouse shopper secretly loves: how much is this thing, really?

How a Round Works

Each guess prints out like a receipt line, with a higher-or-lower arrow telling you which way the true price sits. Land within five percent of the actual price and the item is yours; get within a quarter of it and the game flags you as close, which is where careful bracketing takes over. A new item drops daily at midnight UTC, your streak stats live in the browser with no account needed, and the share card is spoiler-free so you can flex your streak without ruining anyone's round.

A Few Honest Notes

The game is open source and its idea has traveled - community forks have appeared for supermarkets on other continents - and more than one edition of it exists online, with the original credited to a developer going by Kerm and an independent reimplementation carrying the same rules. Prices are snapshot data, not live shelf tags, and every edition carries the same disclaimer: this is a fan-made puzzle, not affiliated with Costco.
