Turball.io: Rocket-Powered Car Soccer, Straight in the Browser

Turball.io does not hide its inspiration: this is car soccer, the genre Rocket League made famous, playable in a browser tab with no download and no gaming PC required. Two teams of rocket-boosted cars, one giant ball, one goal at each end of a 3D arena - and a surprising amount of physics-driven skill for a game that loads in seconds.

How a Match Plays

Momentum is everything. You drive into the ball and the ball goes where your car's mass sends it, which means approach angle matters more than raw speed: plow in head-on and it squirts sideways; clip it from the flank and it steers toward goal. The boost meter powers straight-line bursts and, spent wisely in the air, aerial touches; the jump button gets your nose above the ball for headers no ground car can reach; and powersliding turns a heavy car on a dime. Between offense and disaster stands only your own positioning - the team that rotates back to defend wins the matches the ball-chasers lose.

Tips for Scoring More Than You Concede

Hoard boost for decisive moments - a short burst onto a loose ball beats constant boosting that leaves your tank empty on defense. Approach from angles rather than dead ahead, because side contact is what steers shots toward the net. Read the ball's arc before jumping; early jumps whiff aerials entirely. When your teammates collapse onto the ball, resist joining the scrum - cover the open space where the next clear will land. And rotate back: a car between ball and goal is worth more than a fourth attacker.

A Few Honest Notes

The game is self-published on its own domain (turball.io) with no studio credit, and its team formats and playlist names follow the car-soccer playbook - fans of the genre will feel at home instantly, and players on modest machines finally get a taste of it. Kick off free on Parodybox.
